Police bust 2 for drugs at Fort Wayne motel

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Two people are facing multiple charges after being arrested at a motel by Fort Wayne police on Monday.

Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department Meth Suppression Team and Indiana State Police went to the Knights Inn on Goshen Road on the city’s northwest side as a follow up to a drug tip they had received.

When officers confronted the people in one of the rooms, they could see drug paraphernalia in plain view. After searching the room officers found 1.6 grams of meth, 1.5 grams of marijuana and syringes.

The following two people were taken into custody:

Sandy Marie Smith, 33
Possession of a Syringe level 6
Possession of Methamphetamine level 6
Maintaining a Common Nuisance level 6

Glenn Edward Becker Jr., 35
Possession of a Syringe level 6
Possession of Methamphetamine level 6
