Indy 500 champ Castroneves visits Decatur, gets luxury motorhome

DECATUR, Ind. (WANE) IndyCar driver and 3-time Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves visited Decatur on Monday morning.

He left with quite the parting gift.

During a press conference at American Coach in Decatur alongside Decatur Mayor Ken Meyer and REV Group CEO Tim Sullivan on Monday, Castroneves was handed the keys to a new luxury motorhome, which he will use while traveling from race-to-race during the upcoming season.

The luxury coach is built by American Coach in Decatur. American Coach is part of REV Group, a sponsor of Castroneves’s Penske racing team.

The day included a private unveiling and walk-through of the motorcoach for the driver.
