KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 16th-ranked Indiana Tech men’s basketball team received an at-large bid to the 2016 NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship, the national office announced via the Championship Selection Show on Wednesday evening.
Tech received the fourth seed in the Duer Bracket and will face off with fifth-seeded Dakota Wesleyan on Thursday, March 10, at 8:30 p.m. ET at Keeter Gymnasium in Point Lookout, Missouri.
It is the Warriors first appearance in the National Championship since the 2011-12 season. The Orange and Black, under second-year head coach John Peckinpaugh, are 23-9 and the fourth at-large bid in the tournament.
