INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) Indiana State Police troopers arrested a former corrections officer on Monday for sexual misconduct.
Investigators said an inmate at the Indiana Woman’s Prison gave details of two separate accounts of sexual contact with Lamont Williams, 55, of Indianapolis. She told prison officials one incident happened in October of 2014 and the other in January of 2015.
During the course of the investigation, evidence was sent to the Indiana State Police Laboratory for analysis. After reviewing the results, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for Williams’ arrest. He was taken into custody without incident and is being held on a $15,000 bond.
He faces two felony counts of sexual misconduct and one felony count of official misconduct.
