FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After their final practice in Fort Wayne before heading to Sioux Falls for the Summit League tournament the Mastodons weighed in on their quest to earn the program’s first-ever bid to the NCAA Tournament.

IPFW goes in as the no. 1 seed in the tournament for the first time in program history after winning the Summit League regular season title.

The Dons will face eighth-seeded South Dakota in the first round on Saturday at 7 p.m. Eastern.

IPFW faced the Coyotes twice in the regular season, beating them 85-65 January 6 at the Coliseum and 95-82 February 4 in Vermillion, S.D.
