Fox leads Cougar comeback in 70-63 win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Austin Fox tallied 17 points and 17 rebounds to lead a second-half rally as top-seeded St. Francis came back from a halftime deficit to defeat eighth-seeded Marian 70-63 in the first round of the Crossroads League tournament on Thursday night at the Hutzell Center.

The tournament was originally set to tip on Wednesday but was pushed back a day due to weather.

Bryce Lienhoop added 15 points for USF.

USF trailed 30-25 at half.

St. Francis will now host fourth-seeded Goshen (19-12 overall) at 3 p.m. Saturday in the semifinals.
