DYER, Ind. (AP) — A northwestern Indiana coroner says two men died while shoveling the wet, heavy snow that fell in the area.

The men were identified as 65-year-old William Kwasniak of Dyer and 60-year-old Randy Roeda of Cedar Lake. The Lake County Coroner’s Office says both men died Wednesday. The National Weather Service reports up to 15 inches of snow fell in the area.
