2/16 High school basketball recap

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Reggie Tharp netted a game-best 20 points as Concordia topped DeKalb 53-38 to headline local prep basketball action on Tuesday.

Mitch Paradine added 13 points for the Cadets while Will Chrisman led the Barons with 16 points.

In other action Brachen Hazen tallied 12 points as Columbia City defeated West Noble 56-30.

Kylon Jarreau scored 17 points while Craig Young added 16 points and 10 rebounds but Wayne lost at home to Kokomo, 51-49.

In NECC play Garrett bested Churubusco 56-53 in overtime. The Railroaders were led by Mason Wichman with 16 points while Dakota Barkley paced Busco with 27.

In Woodburn the host Warriors topped Eastside 64-49. Austin Fancher led Woodlan with 20 points.

Perhaps the most dramatic game of the night was at Lakewood Park, as Keegan Fetters hit a buzzer-beater as the Panthers edged Prairie Heights 54-53.
