The company entered a multi-year agreement that will allow REV to showcase their American Coach and Fleetwood RV brands. The brands will be featured as the primary sponsor on Castroneves’ No. 3 Chevy at Phoenix International Raceway in April.
In March, the company will present Castroneves a 2016 American Coach American Eagle. The luxury motorcoach will be used by the racer at events throughout the season.
REV will also be a sponsor for the No. 22 Ford during four NASCAR XFINITY Series races, including the series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. In 2015, the No. 22 won its third-consecutive owner’s championship. NASCAR drivers Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Ryan Blaney and AJ Allemendinger split time in the car. Team Penske hasn’t announced who will drive the car and when during the 2016 season.
REV President and CEO Tim Sullivan says the partnership is a strategic move.
“By teaming up with a three-time Indianapolis 500 winner and a three-time defending XFINITY Series Owners’ championship team, we feel we’re well positioned to see our cars in Victory Lane this year,” Sullivan said in a statement.
Team Penske is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016.
