2/4 High school basketball recap

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Purdue basketball coach Matt Painter was at Kilmer Court on Thursday night to watch 6-foot-11 junior Malik Williams and the Snider Panthers defeat SAC rival Bishop Dwenger 65-52.

Devon Tennant stole the show for Snider with 18 points while Li Donta Hicks-Gentry added 14 and Jordan Gorman 13. Williams finished with seven points on the game.

Dwenger was paced by Sam Royal with 13 points, Ryan Berghoff with 11, and Colan Martin & Nick Passino with 10 points apiece.

At Homestead the host Spartans topped Canterbury 70-60 thanks to 20 points from Jake Wolfcale. Tahj Curry chipped in with 19 points for the Spartans while Brandon Durnell added 17. Jalen Paul led Canterbury with 27 points.
