FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The talented trio of Homestead receivers Ben Skowronek (Northwestern), Austin Krider (Siena Heights), and Jonah Watson (Trine) aptly signed together on Wednesday after teaming up to give opponents headaches over the last three seasons.
Skowronek signed with the Wildcats after verbally committing to Northwestern last June. The six-foot-three receiver/tight end racked up 53 receptions for 805 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior. He tallied 133 receptions for 2,181 yards and 26 TDs for his Homestead career.
Krider was one of northeast Indiana’s most productive receivers as a senior. He tallied 71 catches for 1,092 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2015 alone.
Watson amassed 32 receptions for 529 yards and five touchdowns as a senior. He also rushed 31 times for 143 yards and two scores.
