TOTW: Coldwater (OH) Football

COLDWATER, Ohio (WANE) – Seniors at Coldwater High School don’t know what its like to finish the season without winning a state championship. The Cavaliers out of Coldwater, Ohio captured their fourth straight Div. V state title with a 35-18 win over Canton Central Catholic on December 4th.

Over the last four seasons that Cavaliers have a 57-3 record, going 15-0 in their latest state championship run.

Head Coach Chip Ottten’s team is led by 24 seniors. The Class of 2016 becomes the first to win a state championship in football every year of their high school career.

The Cavaliers finished ranked 143rd in the country according to Maxpreps came to honor Coldwater on Tuesday as one of 50 schools nationwide on their Tour of Champions.
