Police investigate armed robbery at Walgreens

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Fort Wayne police are investigating a reported armed robbery inside a Walgreens store early Thursday.

Officers were called around 6:30 a.m. to the store located at 5830 N. Clinton St. on a report of an armed robbery.

According to a police report, employees said they were in the store’s stock room when two men came in through the loading doors, armed with handguns, and asked who was in charge.
