Interview: 1-on-1 with Gov. Mike Pence

NewsChannel 15 anchor Brett Thomas interviews Gov. Mike Pence in his office at the statehouse.

INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) – On Tuesday, NewsChannel 15 anchor Brett Thomas went to the Indiana State House for a sit-down, one-on-one interview with Gov. Mike Pence.

Pence, who has made national headlines this year because of RFRA and the state’s policy on not allowing Syrian refugees to resettle in the state, discussed a range of topics during our time with him, including those items and the GOP establishment (see video above).

Below are the questions Brett asked Gov. Pence and his responses.

If you could redo RFRA, would you still sign the bill and would you do anything differently?

Do you anticipate that you will change your policy on not allowing Syrian refugees to resettle in Indiana?

What reason can you give the people of Northeast Indiana the reason to reelect you?

How have the people of Northeast Indiana benefited from you being governor?

Are you going to run for president in the future?

What do you know about Fort Wayne? What do you think about Fort Wayne?

If you had run for president, could you beat Donald Trump?
