NOTRE DAME, Ind. (AP)– Bonzie Colson had 14 points and seven rebounds to help Notre Dame pull away from Loyola Chicago in the second half Sunday afternoon for an 81-61 win.
Reserve Matt Ryan hit four 3-pointers and also finished with 14 points for the Irish. V.J. Beachem added 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists, and Demetrius Jackson and Steve Vasturia each scored 10.
The Irish (7-2) won their third game in a row and will take the rest of the week off for final exams before traveling to Indianapolis to face Indiana in the Crossroads Classic on Saturday.
