FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A search warrant served Monday morning resulted in the arrest of a man and the discovery of several guns and drugs.
After receiving information that someone at 2509 Winch St. had been dealing drugs, including heroin and marijuana, the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit and members of its Emergency Services Team served the search warrant.
At the house, detectives found an elaborate camera surveillance system, an AR-15 assault rifle, a .38 caliber pistol, along with the drug Fentanyl, marijuana and packaging materials consistent with dealing drugs.
The suspect, Antione A. Burnett, 35, was arrested during a traffic stop. Police said he had with him a Glock 27 handgun, a .40 caliber pistol and a small amount of Oxycodone pills.
Burnett, having already had a prior conviction for carrying a handgun without a license, was charged with a level 5 felony. He was also charged with the following:
- Dealing Cocaine or Narcotic Drug-Fentanyl, a level 5 felony
- Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug-Oxycodone, a level 6 felony
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a level 6 felony
- Possession of Marijuana, a level 6 felony
