Sheriff: 3 busted for meth in Howe

HOWE, Ind. (WANE) The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department arrested three people early Friday morning on several drug-related charges.

According to a department report, deputies conducted a “knock and talk” investigation at 4305 North State Road 3 in Howe around 1:30 a.m.

During the investigation, police found methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine precursors and trash methamphetamine labs.

Police arrested the following people:

  • Kyle Collins, Howe, 30
    • Manufacturing methamphetamine
    • Possession of methamphetamine
    • Possession of precursors
    • Possession of paraphernalia
    • Maintaining a common nuisance
  • Mitchell Troyer, LaGrange, 25
    • Manufacturing methamphetamine
    • Possession of methamphetamine
    • Possession of precursors
    • Possession of paraphernalia
    • Visiting a common nuisance
  • Callie Ziems, 24 (location unavailable)
    • Manufacturing methamphetamine
    • Possession of methamphetamine
    • Possession of precursors
    • Possession of paraphernalia
    • Visiting a common nuisance

The LCSD was assisted by the Indiana State Police.

The incident is under investigation.
