Snider Celebrates 5A State Championship

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Snider High School celebrated the football team’s 5A state title win with a school-wide pep rally on Wednesday in the gymnasium.

The Panthers topped New Palestine 64-61 on Friday night in the highest-scoring state title game in Indiana history.

The victory marked the second state title for the storied Snider program, with the Panthers’ other title coming in 1992.
