CINCINNATI (WANE) – Bishop Dwenger graduate and Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert did not practice Wednesday or Thursday with the Cincinnati Bengals so far this week.

Eifert suffered a stinger in Sunday’s game while trying to recover a fumble against the Rams.

Eifert suffered a stinger toward the end of his rookie season with the Bengals that limited his time on the field at the end of the 2013 season.

The 9-2 Bengals play the struggling Browns this week, leading many to speculate that Eifert will sit out Sunday’s game to get well before the following week’s game against the Steelers.

A Notre Dame grad, Eifert currently leads the NFL with 12 touchdown receptions.
