FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Emergency responders have cleared the southbound lanes on Interstate 69 after a crash on Thursday that left at least one person seriously injured.
According to police dispatch, crews responded around 6:30 p.m. to the 315 mile marker on southbound I-69, just south of the I-469 interchange. Authorities said one person was expected to be OK and the other was listed in serious condition.
Initially all southbound lanes were closed while police cleared debris. About an hour after the crash, the lanes were back open and traffic was moving slowly.
