I&M restores power after high winds cause outages

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Power has been restored to about 500 Indiana Michigan Power customers that were without power in Allen County because of an outage caused by a tree that was felled by high winds on the southeast side of Fort Wayne.

The I&M outage map also showed the outages that impacted about 1,000 in DeKalb County earlier in the day had been restored as well.

In all, around 1,800 customers in Indiana experienced outages.
