ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) Thursday afternoon the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced the beginning of bridge maintenance on Interstate 69.
The left lane of I-69, just south of US 24 will be restricted through Friday evening as crews work on a bridge joint over McCullough Ditch and Norfolk Southern Railroads tracks.
People are reminded to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through the construction zone. Speed will be reduced to 55mph.
The project is part of a combined bridge maintenance contract awarded to Pioneer Associates, Inc., for $452,774, according to INDOT.
