Police: Robber asks for a Snapple before gas station holdup

Surveillance photos of two suspects wanted for a robbery at a Fort Wayne BP station.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Fort Wayne police are hoping surveillance photos will help them find two robbery suspects.

The robbery took place on Monday at the BP station located at 909 East Coliseum Boulevard at approximately 3:40 p.m. The cashier on duty told police that one of the suspects asked her if the stores carried apple flavored Snapple and she showed him where to find it. When he brought it to the register, both suspects pulled out silver handguns and told the cashier they “wanted the money.” The cashier opened the register drawer and gave them all the cash it contained. The two then left the store without the Snapple and took off in what one witness described as a black mid-size car, possibly a Ford Taurus.

One of the suspects was wearing a black hoodie and the other a gray hoodie. Both were described as being in their twenties. Their height was estimated to be between 5′ 9″ and 6′ 2″.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
