Childhood pastime grows into artists’ creations

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – LEGOs are more than a childhood past time. That was apparent at the Brickworld LEGO expo at the Grand Wayne Center on Saturday.

Brickworld features around 75 LEGO displays. Many of them are from local LEGO enthusiasts. This is the fifth year the event is in the Summit City.

Bill MurrayThere were a wide variety of creations, from the city’s Old Fort, to the USS Missouri. There was even a mosaic of Billy Murray.

You can check out Brickworld on Sunday. It runs from 10-5 at the Grand Wayne Center. General Admission is $10. Military members and first responders can get in for $7 if an ID is presented at the door. Children three and under can get in for free.
