Man shot in neck, dropped off at hospital

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A man who was shot in the neck was dropped off at a hospital, according to Fort Wayne police.

Officers were called to Parkview Randallia around 4:45 a.m. Thursday when a man showed up after being shot.

The man was listed in critical condition and transported to another hospital for treatment.

Police said the people who dropped the victim off did not provide any information. Investigators do not know where the man was shot, when the incident happened, or who else might be involved.

The individuals who dropped the victim off left shortly after police attempted to speak with them.

Several officers were in the parking lot of Parkview’s emergency entrance.

The name of the victim has not been released.

The incident is under investigation.
