Escaped prisoner arrested after appearing in Facebook video

BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (AP) — A prisoner who escaped a Breathitt County jail has been arrested again after a video of him surfaced on Facebook.

WYMT-TV reports investigators began searching for Justin Taulbee on Friday after he escaped while being taken to the Breathitt County Courthouse for an arraignment.

On Monday, a video surfaced on Facebook that tagged Taulbee at the Red River Gorge.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Joe Veenemen says the Facebook video helped authorities locate Taulbee. He says they were familiar with the man who posted the video. According to Veenemen, authorities went to the man’s house where they found Taulbee in bed with his girlfriend.

Taulbee was arrested again Tuesday morning. An escape charge has been added to his case.
