Police: Driver goes airborne after missing curve in the road

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) A Howe, Indiana man was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated Monday evening after he crashed his car in LaGrange County.

Paul J. MIller, 39, was southbound on County Road 725 East at a high rate of when he failed to negotiate a slight curve, causing him to drive off the road where he struck the rear of a pickup truck parked in a driveway according to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department. Miller’s Buick Park Avenue then drove over a rock pile before going airborne. The car then hit a pine tree and stopped.

Miller refused medical treatment at the scene and was taken to the LaGrange County Jail.
