Fort Wayne Ind. (WANE-TV) Despite a national roll out date of Oct. 6, several local McDonald’s restaurants are already serving breakfast all day. Another local McDonald’s plans to start serving all day breakfast on Wednesday, Sept. 30th.

All day breakfast has been something the public has requested for years. In fact, a McDonald’s spokesperson said all day breakfast was the number one request made in consumer surveys. Now that dream has become reality and in some locations around northeast Indiana, it has started sooner rather than later.

The McDonald’s located in downtown Fort Wayne at 515 W. Jefferson blvd. has been serving breakfast 24 hours a day since Sept. 23rd. According to an employee at the store, the McDonald’s in Charubusco and Avilla also began serving breakfast throughout the day on that date.

According to a note posted on the drive-through window at the Mcdonald’s at 5703 W. Jefferson Blvd, that location will begin serving all day breakfast on Wednesday, Sept. 30th.

Apparently the start date is left up to the individual franchisee. A complete listing of McDonald’s serving breakfast around Fort Wayne is not available at this time.
