LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Mike Pence’s office says the Indiana governor will be in Lafayette to attend an economic development announcement by Japan-based Subaru of Indiana Automotive.
Pence’s office says the Monday event will be a “major jobs announcement.”
Pence spent a week in Japan earlier this month trying to drum up investment in Indiana by touting the state’s business-friendly climate. He had business meetings with major manufacturers including Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi and Subaru.
