NOBLE CO. Ind. (WANE)  A motorcyclist suffered head injuries when an SUV turned into his path Monday afternoon.

Police were called to State Road 5 and County Road 900 West in Noble County around 4:40pm. Investigators said evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated Sylvia Campos, 27, of Cromwell was heading southwest on State Road 5 and tried to turn south onto 900 West. She stated she saw a motorcycle driven by Ricky Gibson, 36, of Leesburg, but thought she had time to make her turn.

Gibson had very little time to react and hit Campos’ Ford Explorer. He sustained head injuries and injuries to his entire body. He was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital. Campos and her passengers were not hurt. She was arrested and charged with driving while suspended with priors.
