Dana donates medical equipment & supplies to free clinic

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  Dana Corporation is helping out a free medical clinic by donating items to Matthew 25.

Dana had a large medical facility at its plant on West State Boulevard, but it’s no longer being used. On Thursday, Dana donated equipment and supplies, including lights, bandages, gauze, and slings.

Matthew 25 provides free medical, dental, and vision services to people who are uninsured or low-income.

“It’s such a great cause and you know, many times we don’t think about the extra things that we have in our lives, said Dana Health & Safety Manager Jeff LaBelle. “When we can put them to good use, I think it just makes you feel like you’ve done good.”

Dana is still maintaining a small first aid facility, but still has other medical supplies to get rid of.
