Police look for help to ID attempted bank robber


KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WANE) The Kendallville Police Department has asked for the public’s help in identifying a suspect they say tried to rob a bank in the Noble County city.

Police were called around 3:45 to the People’s Federal Savings Bank at 116 W. Mitchell St. in Kendallville on a report of an attempted robbery.

Police said a man had fled from the bank on foot. He did not show a weapon during the robbery try, and nobody was injured, police said.
