Taste of the Arts expects thousands to fill downtown

Nobody will be disappointed with the variety of performers at stages both indoors and outside alternating throughout the day. The addition of a Downtown Improvement District stage pushed the previous record of 10 stages to 11 this year. Where else will you find diverse theatrical performances, and a variety of dance, music and performance art all in one place? Only at the Taste of the Arts!

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Many works of art and food will fill up downtown Fort Wayne Saturday Aug. 29th for the Taste of the Arts Festival. The seventh annual event features music, dance, fine arts, theatre, film, crafts, culture, history, and food from local restaurants.

It’s a family-friendly showcase of local talent and a chance to participate in a wide variety of engaging and entertaining activities. The event brings together more than 25,000 visitors and 650 volunteers, participants and performers for one day. Taste of the Arts celebrates and supports the rich diversity of arts and cultural experiences in our vibrant community.

The addition of a Downtown Improvement District stage pushed the previous record of 10 stages to 11 this year.
