CHURUBUSCO, Ind. (WANE) – It’s a new era for the Churubusco Eagles.
Graduating six starters off last year’s squad the 2015 Eagles will be looking for new leaders to step up.
One of the key returners is senior QB Drew Buffenbarger. He’ll have senior receiver Chance Gallmeier back as his main target this season.
In their backfield it will be senior RB Landon Harris and junior RB Sam Richards carrying the load. Head Coach Paul Sade says their speed will be the biggest threat to opposing teams this year in the NECC.
Busco opens their season with conference foe Lakeland on Friday.
