FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) How fit are you? That’s what TruFit Sport and Fitness is trying to figure out with a challenge that will test anyone participating both mentally and physically with a unique obstacle course.

The event ‘So you think you are fit?’ is Saturday, Aug. 29th at 11 a.m. at the Fort Wayne Armor, located at 130 W. Cook Road.

It all started when Brice Miles, founder of TruFit Sport and Fitness wanted to make a community event for fitness beginners and experts. The obstacle course he’s designed for ‘So you think you are fit?’ will test leg strength, core strength, balance, muscle endurance and cardio.

“It’s definitely a fitness challenge but I want to make sure people know that this is a community event too and it’s something to really promote health and fitness while we’re having fun at the same time,” Miles said.

Miles said the course will take about 20 to 35 minutes to complete but specifics about it aren’t being released.

“I don’t want people to really know,” Miles said. “I want them not to have an idea of what’s going on but just the general idea of the event, just be willing to come out of their comfort zone and get a good workout in and have fun at the same time,”

Early registration is open for one more week. Early registration costs $30 before Thursday, Aug. 20 and after that, the price increases to $40. The event will also have an inflatable obstacle course for children, a tour of Humvee’s and food. For anyone who doesn’t want to participate in the course, the event costs $5.
