FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-3rd) will hold his annual job fair next week at IPFW inside Walk Student Union.
IPFW will co-sponsor the annual event, held Monday from 1-4 p.m.
Representatives from 76 employers with more than 2,800 jobs to fill will be on hand to meet with job seekers. That is nearly 10 percent more employers than attended last year’s job fair, organizers said.
The job fair combines interview training with networking opportunities to help job seekers make the most of their time. Those looking for jobs can meet dozens of employers who are hiring and network with other job seekers and business owners.
An interview training session sponsored by WorkOne Northeast and IPFW Career Services will be held from noon to 3 p.m. in Walb Student Union. Attendees can learn how to highlight their experience and qualifications, create a strong impression on employers and develop contacts to build a professional network.
The job fair and training session are both free and open to the public.
The current list of employers attending the job fair is available here.
