FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After going 10-3, winning a share of the SAC’s Victory Bell, and advancing to semi-state the Snider Panthers are looking to take one more step in 2015.
The Panthers will be led by a talented group of skill position players. Quarterback Isaac Stiebeling – who committed to Eastern Michigan this summer – returns after throwing for 1,647 yards and 13 touchdowns while running for six more scores. A trio of talented receivers in Malik Bramley, Mac Hippenhammer, and David Turner will be Stiebeling’s primary targets. Running back Money Woods returns after rushing 101 times for 654 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Defensively, the Panthers return five starters after the graduation of all-state safety Jessie Bates (Wake Forest) and standouts Jaylin Fowler and Matt Swartz among others.
The Panthers will scrimmage Homestead next Friday and open the regular season August 21 at Wayne.
