INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) A Bluffton man won $25,000 by playing the Hoosier Lottery’s new Fast Play game. Jody Ogle bought his winning ticket July 24 at Food Express in Ossian.

According to a news release from the Hoosier Lottery, it was a random event that prompted Ogle to try the new Fast Play game. He happened to be in the Food Express when a Lottery Sales Representative visited the store to teach clerks about the new game. Ogle joined the conversation, purchased a Fast Play ticket and has been playing ever since.

Fast Play works somewhat like a scratch-off, but is printed from a lottery terminal like a draw game. There’s no scratching and no waiting for a drawing. The games are played by matching numbers or symbols instantly on the ticket and most prizes can be claimed in store.
