The 2015 winner of the "smallest winner" was Russ "Ike" Issacs.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After 15 weeks of hard work, a winner has been named for season 8 of Fort Wayne Smallest Winner. Over the competition, 26  participants worked to live a healthier lifestyle – changing nutrition and exercise.

On July 11 during the season finale, Russ “Ike” Isaacs was named the big winner of the “smallest winner”. He lost 84 pounds over the course of the competition.

He said he’s happy to win, but said the competition also brought another reward.

“I have just as much joy when I look around at the 26 others and see how happy and pleased they are with themselves as I do when I win the competitive aspect of it. And I couldn’t be any happier for them,” Isaacs said.

The total weight loss for all of this year’s participants was more than 1,300 pounds. Last year, contestants lost more than one thousand pounds.
