Drop-off sites added to help with storm clean up

People loaded trucks with tree limbs, branches and debris. Drop-off centers were packed as people cleaned up from a storm that his Saturday, June 27.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Residents can now take tree limbs, branches and debris to a few free drop-off sites in Fort Wayne:

The City’s biosolids facility, 6202 Lake Ave
Hours: Monday – Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday noon to 6 p.m.

Republic Services, 6231 MacBeth Rd
Hours: Monday – Friday  8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. to noon
Closed Sunday

Swinney Park West
Hours: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Foster Park West
Hours: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The city didn’t say how long the fees will be waived.

Residents cannot dispose of tree root balls.
