Uncle, nephew busted for multiple burglaries

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE)   Police captured an uncle and his nephew as they were in the process of burglarizing a barn south of Pierceton in Kosciusko County earlier this month.  The pair is now facing felony burglary charges.

After receiving numerous burglary reports  in the last month, deputies coordinated their patrols at specific times and locations and shortly after midnight on June 15 got a tip about a burglary taking place at the  barn according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies were already in the area to they were quickly able to catch Thadius Jacob Kuta, 20, and Jonathan Dale Kuta, 38, both of Warsaw.

Police believe the two were responsible for several burglaries and many of the victims have already been contacted so they can recover items that were stolen.

The Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department originally identified the two men as brothers based on information provided during their arrest
