BEREA, Ohio (WANE) – Bishop Dwenger graduate and former Purdue standout Landon Feichter has been waived by the Cleveland Browns to make room for Terrelle Pryor.
The Browns were awarded Pryor via waivers from Cincinnati on Monday. Pryor – a quarterback at Ohio State and throughout his early NFL career – will compete for a roster spot at wide receiver with the Browns.
Feichter signed with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent on May 11 after impressing the team during a rookie minicamp tryout. A safety, Feichter tells WANE-TV he has cleared waivers and has been contacted by the Green Bay Packers about a possible tryout.
