Purdue Grants Quarterback Danny Etling Release

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue head football coach Darrell Hazell announced that junior quarterback Danny Etling has asked for and been granted a release.

“We appreciate all the hard work and dedication that Danny has put into the Purdue program,” Hazell said. “We wish him nothing but the best in his future both on and off the football field.”

Etling appeared in 13 games for the Boilermakers over the past two seasons, making 12 starts. He passed for 2,490 yards, had a 55.5 completion percentage (238-429) and threw 16 touchdown passes.
