FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Another Summit City football star is heading to the Big Ten. Carroll quarterback took to Twitter on Monday to announce that he will be attending Northwestern University.
He joins now-rival, Ben Skowronek with the Wildcats. The Homestead wide receiver announced his commitment to Northwestern on Sunday.
In his junior year, the Chargers went undefeated in the regular season.
Despite splitting time at the QB position for the first half of his junior season Smith threw for 1,505 yards and eight touchdowns. He also ran for 336 yards and six scores.
