FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – We now know where Austin Mack, Auston Robertson, and Ben Skowronek will continue their college careers
Bishop Luer’s wide receiver, Austin Mack, will become a Buckeye. Mack announced his commitment to Ohio State on Sunday morning at AWP’s RAS Camp.
The four star recruit chose Ohio State over Notre Dame, Michigan, and Tennesee.
Standing at 6’2, 200 pounds, the junior is ranked 32nd at the wide receiver position in his recruiting class according to ESPN. He told WANE that the key to deciding on OSU was working with head coach, Urban Meyer, and the possibility to make an early impact on the team.
Mack will join a Buckeye’s team that won the first ever College Football Playoff national championship in January.
Auston Robertson announced he will be taking his talents to East Lansing. With head coach, Mark D’Antonio in the room, the Wayne DE put on his Spartan visor.
Multiple scouting websites had speculated this decision for the past month. He chose Michigan State over Notre Dame and Michigan.
According to ESPN he is ranked a top twenty defensive end in his class.
Homestead wide-out, Ben Skowronek will also be heading to the Big Ten. The 6’3 200 pound wide-receiver choosing the Wildcats over the Iowa Hawkeyes.
A big part on Skowronek’s decision to commit to Northwestern was the academics. He plans on studying economics in college.
