Komets Raise Over $18K For Charity At Jersey Auction

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Komets held their annual End-of-Season Party and Charity Jersey Auction Friday night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. The highest bid of the night was for goaltender Roman Will’s #34 jersey at $2,000.

Ranking second was a bid of $1,800 for forward Mitchell Heard’s #92 jersey while a third-highest bid of $1,300 was collected for Cody Sol’s #44.

In addition a 2014-15 scrapbook kept by Komet fan Tina Mohr the entire season attracted a bid of $425.00 which will be donated specifically to juvenile diabetes.

Komet game jerseys and the scrapbook combined for a total amount of $18,275 raised. Net proceeds from the jersey auction are to benefit local charities.
