Luers Grad O’Brien Cards 81 In First Round Of LPGA Debut

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WANE) – Bishop Luers graduate Kristi O’Brien made her LPGA debut on Thursday, carding a +10 in the first round of the Kingsmill Championship.

A two-time Fort Wayne city champ, O’Brien earned her spot in the event through a Monday qualifier.

O’Brien double-bogeyed the first hole on Thursday, but parred the next two holes.

Joanna Klatten leads the field at six under par.
