ANGOLA, Ind. (WANE) If you’re looking for something for your teenager to do while school is out, Indiana State Police is offering a chance to learn more about law enforcement.
Since 1970, more than 40,000 hoosier teens have spent a week during the summer to learn about law enforcement. Many of them are returning participants.
State trooper and director of one of the camps, Marc Leatherman, joined NewsChannel 15’s Gina Glaros on First News Saturday to explain more.
The camp is at Trine University located at 1 University Ave, Angola.
The camp is July 12-17. It’s for grades 9 to 12. Camp registration prices range from $100 to $250.
