Komets Looking For Sweep Of Kalamazoo

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After taking a three games to none lead with a 3-1 victory in Kalamazoo on Wednesday night a number of Komets hit the ice Thursday for an optional skate.

The Komets are looking to close out the series Friday with game four in Kalamazoo. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at Wings Stadium.

So far, goalie Roman Will has been the star of the series. The rookie netminder has allow just three goals in three games combined. That includes a 31-of-32 performance Wednesday night.

Matthew Pistilli also netted two goals last night while Garrett Meurs scored the Komets’ other goal, his second of the series.
