I-469 reopens near S. I-69 interchange after semi crash

A semi overturned on Friday April 17, 2015.

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) Officers said a semi-trailer tipped over on its side around 12:30 p.m. Friday at the interchange of I-69 and I-469. The semi overturned on I-469 at the entrance ramp for southbound I-69 past the DuPont Road exit.

The westbound lane on I-469 is closed at the 31 mile marker until about 2:30 p.m.

Officials said the semi was carrying 30,000 pounds of sand blasting beads. The semi driver was taken to a hospital with only minor injuries, police said.
